P is for Picnic

The weather caused a change of plans for picnic day.  Students enjoyed their lunch in the classroom instead of outdoors.

WAEL NEWS

It is our turn to anchor the morning news. I have divided the class into groups to cover the last 4 weeks of school. Each week, a new group will be doing WAEL.  They will have an opportunity to be an anchor, slide show operator, work the mixing board and run the camera.  Please have your child to school no later than 7:25 a.m. during the week they are doing WAEL.

WALK FOR LIFE

Students bundled up for the Walk For Life on Friday.  All money raised will go to the American Cancer Society.  Thank you for supporting this very important event.

eXtra recess

 Students enjoyed the beautiful weather last week for eXtra recess day.

Vikings Day

BOGO Book Fair

The BOGO (buy one, get one of equal or lesser value free) book fair will be held in the media center May 6th-8th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will only be open during school hours.  Our class is scheduled to visit the book fair on Monday, May 6th.  They do not guarantee to have all of the books shown in the flyer that was sent home on Friday.  This is the end of Scholastic's season so they only send us the books that are left in stock.
