Spring Pictures - Friday, March 28th

Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s):

Friday, March 28th is our Spring Picture Day.  Flyers have been sent home with students.  We will be taking both Class pictures and individual pictures.

If you wish to purchase a class picture,  students must have their order form and payment with them when they go to the camera.

Individual student pictures will also be taken.  The order form has an area where you can choose the background for your students picture. If you wish to have a certain backgroud, students must have this selection sheet with them when they go to the camera.  Please do not put this in the group picture envelope.   No payment is necessary at this time for individual student pictures.  Packages will be sent home and you can decide at that time to purchase or not.   Please return the picture package  or payment to your child's teacher.

If you have a preschool sibling and would like to have their picture taken,  these pictures will be taken from 7:30 - 8:00 am.

If you have any questions about any of these items, please give us a call at 253-0506.

Make Up Days

Our students have missed five (5) instructional days due to weather (January 6, 7, 27, 28 and February 21).  Governor Dayton closed schools on one of those days (January 6), and superintendents closed school the other four (January 7, 27, 28 and February 21).  Students will not be required to make up January 6, but will make up the remaining four (January 7, 27, 28 and February 21) as follows:
  • January 28 will be made up on March 7
  • January 7 will be made up on April 21
  • January 27 will be made up on May 30
  • February 21 will be made up on June 2

YUM POWER

The students at Pleasantview attended the Disney Radio - Yum Power Presentation today.  They learned that healthy eating and physical activity are an important part of their everyday lives.The students powered-up with fun activities and dancing!  Over the next four weeks, students will keep track of the number of fruits and vegetable servings they eat each day.  Their goal is 5 servings.
