Junior Achievement

Tuesday was our last day of Junior Achievement.  Students had the opportunity to play a board game that focused on some of the concepts that were taught over the last 5 weeks.  Players included a banker, money manger, bookkeeper, reader, mover and enforcer.  Students drew cards and then collected or payed the expense listed on the card.  They recorded their income and expenses on a financial report and at the end of the game determined if their company had made a profit or took a loss.

Junior Achievement

Janet Dusek has been volunteering her time in our classroom for Junior Achievement. The 4th grade curriculum, Our Region, introduces the relationship between natural, human, and capital resources found in different regions and explores regional businesses that produce goods and services for consumers.

Math Graduates

The following students have earned their picture on the "Multiplication Graduates" board.  There are many students that are close to earning 95/100 or better in 5 minutes or less on 5 consecutive timed tests.  Keep practicing those facts nightly.

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving.  I am thankful everyday to have this wonderful job and the opportunity to work with such a great group of kids.

SCSU Students

Tuesday was the last day for Ms. Brown and Ms Donnay.  They will return to SCSU for class and begin their student teaching experience after Christmas.  We have really enjoyed having them in our classroom over the last 4 weeks and will miss them very much.  We wish them the best of luck!

Multiplication Graduates

Students have been doing a fantastic job learning their multiplication facts.  Keep up the great work!  Our goal is to have our facts mastered by Christmas vacation.  Thank you for all your support at home!
